The supervisor pairs
Why a pair?
Because the complexity of the challenges coaches face calls for different, contrasting and complementary perspectives. Because otherness enriches the process. Because a duo embodies nuance, dialogue and co-construction — all essential resources for nurturing the supervisee’s capacity for discernment.

Céline THOMAS & Stéphane VALLÉE
Didactic & experiential group supervision
For twelve years, we have formed a pair of supervisors resting on the balance between a systemic and a Rogerian approach, and a stance anchored in the body, energy and deep listening. We combine established approaches — Gestalt, neuroscience, systemics, transactional analysis, NLP, the existential approach, relational coaching and the paradoxical approach — to bring an integrative, holistic and non-normative perspective to the situations we explore.

Céline THOMAS & Isabelle CROO
Integrative group supervision
Our duo rests on an alliance that is both demanding and warm. We share a systemic and integrative reading of situations, informed by our respective grounding in Gestalt and Rogerian listening, and by a fine understanding of corporate environments. Our supervision emphasises relational issues and transference dynamics, work on the immediate relationship, and an integrative, embodied approach.
In their words
What strikes me most in the supervision group led by Céline Thomas and Stéphane Vallée is the movement, the alternation. In a half-day session, the supervisors use very different methods, moving from one to the next with great subtlety: sharing experience, generous listening, the confronting question, the opening round. A real “little journey”, punctuated by fine discoveries.
The format chosen (4 participants, 2 supervisors, 4 hours, annual meetings) suits me perfectly: everyone’s issues get explored, it fits my diary, there are no stowaways, and two people are there for us. The range of formats Céline Thomas and Stéphane Vallée offer is, to me, very relevant, because being able to choose creates commitment.
The trust and the closeness within this pair are a real asset. It also teaches a great deal about what a partnership between professionals can be.
In 2019, supervision helped me grow in confidence when presenting my coaching practice, identify the themes to work on with my therapist, and build my own boosters — commitments made in a supervision session.
I loved my morning, with the strong feeling at every moment of being in the right place, of having done well to come — and of thanking myself, and you, for it.
First a matter of beings and energies — each of you, and your pair. Your different facets of power, daring and protection make up exactly the mix of what I want to work on. Which is why, in the end, I could only be there.
The content is rich too, and coherent with who you are.
Thank you both for being yourselves.
Thank you to Céline and Stéphane, who give us a group supervision space dedicated to our new coaching practice.
Thanks to that particular frame, every permission is in place and we dare to discuss all our questions, our fears, our coaching cases.
I want to underline how valuable it is to be supervised by a pair of coaches who are complementary, close, caring and highly professional.
I pay tribute to their humanity and their authenticity, which in turn supported me in understanding and owning what is specific to me, and my values as a coach.
What a fine idea, to have created a supervision group specifically for coaches starting out! Céline and Stéphane supported me throughout 2019, building a relationship of trust and precious moments of sharing — welcoming the moments of doubt, confronting us with great care, and supporting us as we reflected on our first steps in practice.
Alternating, according to what was needed, between fishbowl one-to-one coaching and group sessions, teaching points on the profession’s frame, and shared experience, Céline and Stéphane brought me — with real accuracy — a better understanding of where I can improve and of the warning signs to watch in my stance as a coach.
Each with their own style and particular approach:
Céline with her energy, her care, her integrity and her accuracy, all precious in these supervision sessions
Stéphane with his openness to new perspectives, which widens the field of what is possible.
Through their closeness and the complementarity of their approach they brought fine energy to this supervision. And personally, they supported me through an important step in my own path.
Let’s find the right format.
